Welcome to the website of the
Golborne Brass Band
We are an established 4th section band based in the North West of England,
more specifically in the Wigan / Warrington areas. We are a competitive
band who take part in contests throughout the North West of England. We
are also available for private performances and public concerts in the
North West of England.
The band is comprised of a refreshing mix of personalities, ages and
backgrounds. As a band we are well known for having consistently good
attendances at rehearsals and we are a great bunch to be with!
All experienced players are welcome and should search our Vacancies page
for a list of vacancies or just come down to take part in a friendly and
enjoyable rehearsal. The times are as follows:
Rehearsal times
Senior Band:
Sunday 7pm – 9pm
Wednesday 8pm – 10pm
Youth Band:
Sunday 6pm - 7pm
Wednesday 7pm – 8pm
